Protect your identity
Do not share the following early in a conversation:
- home address, workplace details, or private phone number,
- personal email address or social accounts you do not want exposed,
- banking details, identity documents, passwords, or verification codes.
Scam and manipulation warnings
Leave the conversation and report the user if they show clear scam or coercion patterns.
- they ask for money or gifts,
- they pressure you to move to another platform immediately,
- they ask for verification codes or wallet screenshots,
- they create urgency around emergencies, travel, or investment opportunities,
- they repeatedly avoid basic consistency in their story.
Harassment and abuse
Block and report users who threaten you, harass you, use hate speech, pressure you sexually, impersonate someone else, or appear to be underage.
Meeting offline
If you ever choose to meet someone offline, use extra caution.
- meet in a public place,
- tell a trusted person where you are going,
- arrange your own transportation,
- avoid sharing your exact live location too broadly,
- leave immediately if you feel unsafe.
Moderation and support
Reports are reviewed by authorized staff. Blocking stops future matching and messaging with the blocked user. Support requests can be sent through the support surface.
